About submitting a paper

Q.: Is it possible to submitt a paper that has been or will be submitted to another conference or publication?
A.: Please review the rules and regulations that govern the IEEE society with respect to multiple submissions, which in summary, is not permitted.

Q.: Is there a specific format required
A.: The necessary templates are available at the submission page.

Q.: Will papers eligible for the Student Paper Contest be published in IEEE Xplore?
A.: All papers accepted for presentation at NEWCAS2010 will be published in the proceedings and archived through IEEE.

About registration

Q.: Can the student registration category cover a paper to be presented?
A.: No. To be published a paper must be covered by a regular advanced registration (IEEE member or non member) of at least one of the authors.

Q.: I'm a student and will be presenting a paper. My supervisor has register in the regular category and is covering our paper. Can I register in the student category?
A.: Yes. As long as the paper is covered by a regular registration of one of the authors, the presenter can be any of the authors and register in any categories.

Q.: We have to present 3 papers. Can they be covered by a single registration?
A.: No. One registration can cover up to two (2) papers. The third one will have to be covered by another regular registration.

About presenting a paper

Q.: What is the poster size?
A.: Posters cannot exceed 4 feet / 1.12 meters in height and 8 feet / 2.43 meters in width.
